Paul Forrester & Lisa Rae Black present the MORONGO VALLEY MUSIC FESTIVAL to benefit the Morongo Valley Youth Softball League. Also appearing on Saturday: The Jimmy Dale Surf Trio (Dick Dale’s son), the Paula Bearers (Gwynne Kahn, Casey and Bambi from the Pandoras reunite with Lisa and Liza), plus the Warsaw Poland Bros. (Friday) and Tom Freund & Friends, Dan Navarro, Rick Shelley, Kaz Murphy (Sunday) and more.

PATRIA JACOBS w/ MELINDA HILL & FRIENDS
Netflix and HBO comedian Melinda Hill headlines a night of crowd work, dance, and healing-through-humor on August 7, kicking off a First Fridays series running through 2026. Portion of the night’s proceeds go to support Altadena Musicians the brainchild of Brandon Jay who started the non-profit organization, and with De Ivett, built the Instrumental Giving app that helps connect donated instruments to fire impacted persons who lost their homes and belongings in the Eaton Fire/Altadena and Pacific Palisades fire.

I booked this show over a year ago, so very excited it’s finally here. I’ll be performing with an acoustic trio: my longtime drummer Andy Sykora joins me us on drums and percussion. Marc Doten my producer and collaborator joins the trio on bass, piano, synth and backing vocals. One of my favorite lineups ever.
